Global Reporting Initiative will provide certified training programs
in Greece in cooperation with Sustainable Development
Sustainable Development, as a consulting company specialized on Corporate Responsibility programs and CSR Reports is selected by the international organization Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), to become a GRI Certified Training Partner in Greece. Sustainable Development’s selection emerged after a specific procedure that GRI conducted in order to certify its training partners in our country.
The international organization GRI selects training partners for each country through an evaluation process. GRI has invited Sustainable Development to be a GRI Certified Training Partner in Greece.
The Global Reporting Initiative (www.globalreporting.org) is a network-based organization that has pioneered the development of the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting framework and is committed to its continuous improvement and application worldwide.
The Certified Training Program aims to disseminate knowledge on sustainability reporting around the world. It has been developed especially to help report makers and users to more effectively use the GRI Framework and GRI reports.
Target participant groups are report makers such as:
• consultants;
• business managers;
• SMEs managers; and
• NGO managers and other professionals in charge of the implementation of the GRI reporting process.
As well as report users such as:
• NGOs
• financial analysts;
• government officials;
• company boards; and
• media
The training program is implemented by selected local training organizations in different countries who GRI has certified.
