Celebrating one year implementation of the GRI Certified Training Program for Sustainability Reporting in Greece
Ms. Shivani Rajpal, training coordinator of Global Reporting Initiative, will visit our country on the occasion of the event.
The GRI certified training program for Sustainability Reporting, overseen by the international organization Global Reporting Initiative successfully completes one year of presence in Greece, on July 2011.
The training program was initially implemented in Greece during the summer of 2010. One year later, the GRI certified training program has educated many executives of public and private sector, helping them to understand the process of sustainability reporting.
On the occasion of the first anniversary of this program, Sustainable Development, a GRI certified training partner, is organizing an afternoon event dedicated to “the training for CSR and Sustainability Reporting”, which will be held in a central hotel of Athens on July 7th.
Ms. Shivani Rajpal, training coordinator of the international organization GRI, will attend the event and will present the outcome of the program’s implementation in Greece. During the event, the ways to incorporate CSR and sustainability issues in post-graduate programs will be discussed, providing the opportunity towards future executives of the Greek market to adopt a more responsible, environmental and social friendly behavior, through their studies.
The organizer of the event, Sustainable Development, has trained more than 50 Greek executives in CSR issues during the last year, while has also developed 24 CSR reports of major Greek organizations since 2006, based on the GRI-G3 guidelines.
The event will be held at the end of the next certified training course, which will be organized by Sustainable Development in Athens, on 6th and 7th of July 2011.
